iTRG Teams Up with Phillips 66® Lubricants to Offer National Oil Program for Independent Truck Repair Shops
Heavy Duty Truck Repair Trade Association to offer members access to special pricing on Phillips 66 heavy-duty engine oils, transmission fluids, greases, gear oils, hydraulic fluids, and coolants.
Lexington, KY, March 24, 2021— Independent Truck Repair Group (iTRG) announced today that they have teamed up with Phillips 66 Lubricants to offer a national oil program for their members. Through this new program, iTRG members will have access to special pricing, promotional materials, rebates and enhanced education and technical support on Phillips 66 (NYSE: PSX) premium diesel products.
“Our mission at the Independent Truck Repair Group is simple,” says John Stoeckinger, President of iTRG “We help independent truck repair shop owners build thriving, profitable businesses. The money our members save through this new program will fall directly to their bottom line and when you combine that with best in class products, industry leading marketing and technical support, it will give them a competitive advantage versus their competition.”
As one of the largest finished lubricants suppliers in the U.S., Phillips 66 Lubricants is known for manufacturing and marketing high-quality base oils and sophisticated formulations in three lubricant brands: Phillips 66, Kendall® Motor Oil and Red Line® Synthetic Oil. These premier products reach across every key market sector, including automotive, trucking, agriculture, aviation, power generation, mining and construction.
“We feel our products, led by the Guardol® line of quality heavy-duty specific lubricants, are a great fit for the heavy-duty truck repair segment”, says Phil Mindala, Phillips 66 National Business Development Representative. “Phillips 66 is very excited to be collaborating with iTRG and its members. We look forward to developing a great and long-standing relationship.”
iTRG members will feel the Phillips 66 Lubricants presence and support immediately. Key Phillips 66 Lubricants executives and team members presented at the March 5 – 7, conference and tradeshow in Atlanta to a very receptive diesel repair shop owner audience. Upcoming conferences, member’s only calls and webinars will feature ongoing networking and training opportunities to deepen the relationship and facilitate implementation of the programs within each member shop.
Within the next 30 days, iTRG members will also have access to a private Phillips 66 Lubricants website portal where they can view current program information, access training for their staff, track program participation and rebate statistics.
In addition, current members who elect to participate in the program will enjoy a generous offset to member dues and direct payments for technician training. New members will also have dues offset if they elect to support the program.
Stoeckinger goes on to say “No independent heavy-duty shop owner has to go it alone anymore. We’re very excited about this new collaboration with Philips 66 Lubricants and helping our members to increase purchasing power and boost profitability.”
The next iTRG training conference will be held in Cincinnati June 18 – 20, 2021.
