Phillips 66® Guardol Euro Full Synthetic Diesel Engine Oil is a top-tier synthetic oil designed for 4-stroke cycle diesel engines operating in extreme temperatures. It meets API CK-4 performance requirements, making it suitable for modern low-emission engines that adhere to 2007 and subsequent EPA on-highway exhaust emissions standards. It is also backward serviceable for use in pre-2007 diesel engines.

Guardol Euro is formulated for compatibility with exhaust after-treatment systems using diesel particulate filters (DPF), diesel oxidation catalysts (DOC), or selective catalytic reduction (SCR). Its full-synthetic formulation offers superior low-temperature properties, enhancing performance in harsh winter climates.

Guardol Euro combines synthetic base stocks with an advanced low-SAPS additive package, delivering exceptional wear protection, soot control, and bearing corrosion protection for diesel engines with or without ERGs. It excels in soot dispersancy, protecting against abrasive wear and soot-induced oil thickening, and maintaining good low-temperature pumpability even with highly soot-laden oil. Its synthetic composition provides increased oxidation resistance and thermal stability at high temperatures and improved low-temperature properties compared to conventional non-synthetic formulations.

Meeting or exceeding the performance requirements of API Service Categories CK-4 and SN, Guardol Euro is approved under the latest OEM specifications for use in low-emission diesel engines. It may be used where earlier API "C" category engine oils or concurrent earlier OEM specifications are specified. It is suitable for diesel engines operating on diesel fuels with sulfur content up to 500 ppm.

If not using Ultra-Low Sulfur Diesel, consult with the engine's manufacturer for recommended service intervals.
