The Shield® lineup of passenger car engine oils meet or exceed the ILSAC GF-6 specifications that maintain the stricter fuel economy standards in newer vehicles and help reduce emissions.
Over 10 specialty lubricants are formulated without zinc and other heavy metals, to limit the impact on the environment. Many Phillips 66 products are non-toxic, non-irritating and contain no hazardous ingredients making them environmentally friendly.
Phillips 66 Firebird® products feature re-refined base stocks. The use of re-refined base stocks helps lessen the environmental impact of the disposal of used oils.
